Hotel Alcyon

Check in was easy, temporary parking on doorstep to unload luggage. I used the hotels private parking located 50 meters behind hotel under some holiday flats, the car entry and exit was steep and narrow but perfectly OK if you took your time. There is public paid parking opposite but would have cast about the same over 4 days as the hotel parking. The breakfast on the roof terrace was lovely with a good selection, this also doubles as a bar in the evenings. Our room had a balcony overlooking the old town direction and the harbour and bay. It was no more than a 10 min walk to the old town and many excellent restaurants.

There are not any negatives that I can honestly come up with

Perfect location for the old town. Our room was lovely with a balcony and sea view. Roof top bar was very nice. Staff were very helpful and friendly

Limited parking belonging to property down the hill

Location good. Staff friendly and efficient. Useful private parking (15€ per day) although a short distance away. Rooftop great for breakfast.

Most expensive hotel of our Corsica holiday - but I guess that's because we're in Porto Vecchio.

The hotel needs some serious upkeep...the bathroom facilities were old, water pressure was low and the sink was clogged. We arrived at 15:00 which was the check-in time but our room was not ready.
