Lady Hill

Incredibly nice people. Nice room and great location right near the Belvedere!

This hotel is in a good location. Walking distance to the bus, funiva cable car down to the beach, laundry mat, many restaurants & shops but most importantly the central Taormina town centre where all the action is: shops, cafes, restaurants, entertainment & many view points for those picturesque photos. The hotel & rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful, particularly Carmen and Valentina & Simon in the breakfast bar. The breakfast was simple but sufficient with tasty cappuccinos included. Great value. I would stay there again.

Lady Hill’s location is great, right next to the Bus terminal and a 10 minute walk to Centro area of shops/restaurants. It’s a bit hilly but manageable. If you’re coming from Giardini train station and taking their connecting Taolink bus, get off at the Bus terminal stop rather than the Centro stop. Technically, the Taolink bus should also stop at the Bus terminal before heading back down to the train station but it didnt for me. The alternative is to take an Etna bus or in my case, a €20 taxi back down. Lady Hill has basic but functional accommodations, fixtures are a bit dated (aircon is a bit loud and water takes some time to heat up) but it was a comfortable stay for 1 nite. The manager was very nice and hospitable and prepared a takeout breakfast for me as I had to leave before their breakfast hour.

I had a wonderful stay at Lady Hill. Very quiet and comfortable in close proximity of bus stop, cable car and city center. Great atmosphere. Thank you Carmen for everything
