Villa Eth Mayouret

Host was very welcoming; we did our best as his English and my French weren't great but he certainly tried to tell us the best places to walk and eat. Patking was on the drive with a turnaround space at the front of the house. Cauterets is about a 20 minute walk but there are pavements or walking trails all the way; there is also a Carrefour about 15 minutes walk in the other direction, near the campgrounds. The kitchen was fully stocked and there was a little seating area directly outside; it was lovely to be able to sit and look at the stars with a noce glass of wine! Especially when accompanied by the host's cats!

Single beds, although we could have pushed them together. Loft-style apartment so we had to drag our bags up to the landing (not a problem for us as we travel light) The walls are quite thin (host lives in the house; the apartment is an annex)

Excellent location, beautiful mountain views, comfortable, large kitchen, quiet, easy parking, genial and helpful host.

No comment, all good!
