The house had everything we might need, and it was easy to get to the city center and back home. The living room is also designed to be converted into a separate room for those who will be staying there.

The building does not have an elevator, so it may not be suitable for people with disabilities or elderly people who have difficulty climbing stairs.

Excellent location and very clean apartment. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

The ceiling on the upper level is very low (our right hand side apartment is even lower than the left hand side apartments) my daughter bumped her head on the first day. There was also an intermittent buzzing noise when the air conditioning is on, when it happened it would buzz for about 1 -2 secs every 5 secs. In addition, although the listing advertised a washing machine, there wasn’t one in the apartment during our stay. We noticed a washing machine being delivered only after we had checked out.

I liked the communication of the owner, the layout and decoration of the property. I liked the location, close to everything, in the heart of Porto.

I wish they had a door code instead of key.

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 3 adults but this is a one bedroom apartment with a loft area above a central bathroom. The height of the loft area is so low you are not able to stand up and the open railing means there is little privacy and it is very noisy. the narrow stairs to the loft also are dangerous to navigate especially coming down. The apartment is dark and the windows open onto a central narrow ‘courtyard ‘ which means that any noise from other apartments is magnified. The main bedroom has only a narrow gap between the walls and the bed and it has a ‘saloon like’ door giving little privacy. The plumbing in the walls also meant you knew when neighbours were using the bathroom. Being in this apartment was like being in a Jacques Tati film….. there were noises everywhere. We found it so unsatisfactory we left early and got alternate accommodation.
