Check-in on a Friday afternoon was via code, not a person (so this is really not a hotel); the room was fine, and air conditioning worked well. There is a breakfast signup sheet which allows exactly one choice per person, and requires specifying a time slot. For example, if one chooses a (small, good quality) fruit salad, then that is basically it in terms of included breakfast. The filled-in sheet needs to be left at the unstaffed front desk, and the next morning, there is no bread, no marmelade or honey, ... just a few croissants and a vintage coffee maker, really very minimal. There is street parking available just across from the hotel, EXCEPT on Sundays. It is possible to walk to M'dina from the hotel, in about 20 minutes or so.

Breakfast could really improve, at not much extra cost. It would also be nice to have a stand or something to put a suitcase on, so as to not have to put everything on the floor.

It was very clean, with nice breakfast and centrally located

The fact that they give you only 1 card, even if there are two people in the room- quite uncomfortable if the one wants to stay in the room and the other takes a walk outside. Another strange thing was that it was quite hot in the shared spaces like corridors, elevator and passing shared rooms.

The bedroom and bathroom were large and well appointed. The lighting was excellent throughout and we even had a walk-in wardrobe with full size mirror! Lovely big terrace overlooking the street where there is a market on Sundays but double glazing blocked out any sound. The pool area was lovely, quiet and clean. The breakfast choice was excellent and well organised, prepared to order. One of the best things was the wonderful Maltese couple who own and run the place.
