Acro Villa

Großzügiges Haus mit schönen Weitblick.

Direkt vor dem Haus befindet sich ein Fußballplatz der in den Abendstunden intensiv genutzt wird. So wird man täglich bis etwa 22 Uhr von Scheinwerferlicht angestrahlt. Ich sag mal so: wer abends gerne noch ein Buch lesen möchte, hat in jedem Fall genug Licht! In einem der drei Schlafzimmer lassen sich die Rolläden nicht bedienen außerdem ist ein Fenster defekt und lässt sich nicht schließen. Die Matratzen waren uns deutlich zu hart. Von 6 Stühlen am Esstisch der Terrasse waren 3 beschädigt und einen davon konnte man gar nicht benutzen. Der Pool war leider völlig überchlort und im hinteren Bereich des Grundstücks fand sich diverser Plastikmüll. Ich verstehe nicht, wie man ein Haus für knapp 2.500 Euro die Woche vermieten kann und dann nicht dafür sorgt, dass alles in Schuss ist. Das habe ich in anderen Häusern in Afandou ganz anders erlebt. Eine Weiterempfehlung kann es so leider nicht geben.

The pool and the view was absolutely amazing, the house was also very spacious and very clean. The outside sitting areas were also great!!

The kitchen was lacking, the electric stove didn’t work (could be because the pans aren’t compatible with the stove but we aren’t sure) so had to use the oven most of the trip. There was not enough cutlery for 7 guests even though we booked for 7 people. The freezer didn’t really work. We tried using the barbecue one day and we didn’t know how it worked and didn’t get any assistance after texting the agency and the guy that gave us the keys. Lastly, the Wi-Fi didn’t work half of the time.

We absolutely loved our stay at Acro Villa. The hosts had excellent communication with us, a nice clean properly located not too far from Rhodes town, around a 30 minute drive. The hosts left the cutest welcome package and all staff were very friendly when checking in/out. Would definitely recommend when staying in Rhodes.

The only slight issue we found was the bin situation. The villa could have done with some bins located outside so we were able to empty bins easily. We had to load the bin liners into the car and drive to the nearest bin/skip as per instructions when checking in. This was slightly inconvenient especially given the fact can’t flush toilet paper in Rhodes. A $50 per guest damage deposit was also required when checking in which is completely understandable but we weren’t aware of this before we arrived. Other than these minor factors we were very happy with our stay.

Lovely views, very well equipped with everything you could want.

It’s a bit of a walk up a hill. We did know before we went but be prepared.
