Rubikių Meldynas Anykščiai

​We were three couples who spent a wonderful week-long vacation by the lake in this house. The house is extremely well-built, and every detail has been thoughtfully designed. The view from the windows is beautiful. ​The biggest highlight, of course, was having our own private beach, a lakeside sauna (included in the price), as well as a pedal boat and a kayak available for our use. We even picked mushrooms that grew right on the property! We were visited by a deer, and saw a fox run past — it was incredibly peaceful and quiet. ​The house is easy to find, and the host, Tomas, responds instantly to any questions. The location is very convenient to the town of Anykščiai, where you can find shops, restaurants, and attractions. Overall, it’s a great base for exploring the area or simply enjoying a quiet retreat in nature. The drive from Vilnius takes no more than two hours. ​We would happily recommend this house and Tomas to everyone!

The only minor clarification compared to the description is that there are two toilets in the house, but only one shower. If you are a large group and like to spend a lot of time in the bathroom, that’s something to keep in mind.

Na 24 uur onderweg te zijn geweest, kwamen we aan. Ken je dat gevoel als je er dan eindelijk bent en het er zo mooi uit ziet als de foto's beloofden dat je dan bijna moet huilen van blijdschap?! It's all yours zei het meisje. En you are here all alone. Ik kon het bijna niet geloven. Wat een plek. Onwijs. Prachtig. Wij hebben genoten. En de jongens hebben geweldig genoten van het varen met de kano of sup. Het huisje is ruim en heeft ruime slaapkamers. Schoon en fris

Nou kan niks bedenken. Misschien een beetje weinig uitrusting in de keuken.

Amazing very well maintained summer house. Spotless clean, has everything you need for a nice stay. We enjoyed water sports as well as sauna and had the most relaxing weekend with a group of friends. All rooms are spacious and comfortable. Host is easy to communicate with, friendly and welcoming. You can feel that place is loved and cared for. Thank you for your hospitality - we shall be back :)
