About this house rental
Our beautiful Frisian house offers everything you need for a wonderful and relaxing vacation. The house, with its classic design, is equipped with all modern amenities. These include, among other things, high-speed internet and Wi-Fi, keyless entry, a central ventilation system with filters, and a smart home system that operates discreetly in the background.
Since our vacation home is designed to be a place of comfort, especially for families, there’s what is likely the largest sandbox of any vacation home in Hohwacht right in front of the house. Of course, appropriate sand toys are also provided.
A spacious hallway leads to the shower room and to the heart of the house: the large, open-concept living and dining area with a fireplace visible from three sides. In addition to a TV with cable, you can also pass the time playing Xbox or listening to music through the Sonos system. The open, fully equipped kitchen features a microwave, induction cooktop, convection oven, range hood, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and more.
In the spacious garden, the teak furniture invites you to sit comfortably while barbecuing, and the two deck chairs are perfect for relaxing. Of course, you can also play soccer, badminton, or similar games here. A few bicycles (two children’s bikes, a mountain bike, and a city bike) are also available for use.
Upstairs, there are two large bedrooms with double beds (each 200 cm x 180 cm with two 90-cm mattresses) and a closet—one of which has a TV—as well as the pirate-themed children’s room with two single beds (160 cm and 190 cm long, respectively, and 90 cm wide) and a closet.
The spacious spa bathroom features a fantastic wood-and-glass sauna, two sinks, a freestanding tub, and an open 2-meter-deep shower with a large rain showerhead. This creates your personal wellness oasis during your vacation.
Parking spaces are available for 2 to 3 vehicles, as well as up to 3 additional spaces on the street.
On the beautiful, flat beach in Althohwacht, near the sailing school, a beach chair is available for use during the season (approx. May through September).
Important: Our house is a smoke-free property and does not allow pets.
Additional information:
In Hohwacht, there is a visitor’s tax that must be paid by adults. As of 2022, the visitor’s tax—excluding any discounts—is €2.50 per person per day during the high season and €1.50 per person per day during the low season. The visitor’s tax is handled directly through us.
A linens package (bed linens and towels) is not included.
During the high season (late June through early September), check-in and check-out are only possible on Saturdays and Sundays.
