Its perfect

Breakfast - perfect, changed daily, different types (buffet), fruits, tea, coffee etc. Plenty of food, fresh and tasty, for all kind of tastes/people People/staff - excellent and fast answers Location - 5-6 min walking to Pentai Cenang beach. A lot of restaurants around. Mall at ~15 min walking Transport from/to airport was free/offered by the host. Do not pay extra to booking application, like I did Mangrove tour organized by host, but hold by other persons. Just pay the needed money and you have car at the door and everything is arranged (tour, lunch, cars, boat etc) Filtered water available (machines available for use anytime)

We had a family holiday with our 4 teenage children for 5 nights and could not have hoped for a better experience. The accommodation we had was very clean and comfortable and everything had been thought of. The communication through Wattsapp and the service from arrival at the airport to departure was exceptional. The location is perfect - just a short walk from the main street and the beach and transport options are available on site. We hired a car and toured the island. The breakfast offered is high quality and a great start to the day. I did a lot of research and considered many options and am so glad that we found and booked Langkawi Country Lodge. Langkawi is a special place and Papa Mas and Mama Yati take pride in generously sharing their local information and are brilliant hosts. We are grateful to have had such a special holiday and we hope we can go back to Langkawi Country Lodge again.

The key highlight was the staff which were very helpful and kind. The fresh fruit and omelet was great, but the other options (e.g., pasta) wasn't really breakfast food.

There are older and newer rooms / areas. I had an old room in the main building which wasn't good - very loud in the morning with people talking and walking around (got woken up at 7am), the door has big gaps around so the light shines through so hard to fall asleep and weird smell in the hall at times. The furniture was old and the bed frame looked dirty; I only stayed one night so didn't bother asking to switch. The towels also looked dirty so I asked for new ones which were ok but could still see stains that probably can't wash off.
