Hosts met us on arrival and with key pad entry to apartments was super easy. Both apartments are spacious and well laid out - the bedding was super comfortable and there was PLENTY of towels. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, the location was so perfect to walk to Echoland. LOVED IT

Steve and Mikyo are perfect hosts. We stayed as two families. The apartment was lovely.
Spacious, clean, everything you needed. Two bathrooms and a laundry room which was great for drying out ski gear.
Steve took us to the supermarket to do a shop for the week when we arrived. There is also a 7Eleven about 10-15 minute walk.
The location is great, you can walk to the bus stops to get to any of the ski resorts. The buses are included within the Valley ski pass. We also paid extra to use Ubers for convenience some days as we had younger kids with us. (Be patient booking an Uber, you will get one eventually).
In the evenings you are just a short walk from lots of places to eat. The Cherry pub was just a couple of minutes and you can walk to Echoland where there's plenty of places to eat. We ate in The Cherry Pub, The Bear Cafe, Pietro, Marutama Ramen & Bar, 1F Yoro-No-Taki, 2F Yakiniku restaurant. Food was great in all.
We recommend booking all restaurants, some can be done using the TableCheck app.
We didn't need to go to Nagano to see snow monkeys, we were lucky enough to see them at the bottom of Kokusai ski slope. This was the meeting place for Evergreen Ski School which we would recommend. We hired skis from Rhythm.
Steve and Mikyo and incredibly helpful and we liked the fact they lived next door as they are always available to help with any questions.

What a beautiful place to stay, it’s exactly like the photos, so cosy and super comfortable. Everything you could possibly need, so much space inside and outside for the kids to play in the snow! Walking distance to the shuttle stops, main st and 7/11. Mikiyo snd Steve are amazing hosts, great comms and so helpful with our questions and a run to the supermarket..

The location was perfect with a bus stop just on the corner, very clean and spacious house that we all loved.
