Villa La Corte Bianca by Villa Plus

Location is great, 6 mins drive to the centre of Ostuni (car essential as nothing is walking distance). Pool is great, good size and depth (1.5m depth the whole pool) and pool towels were provided. Air con in the bedrooms (not in main part if the house). Large driveway for off street parking (can accommodate multiple cars).

The whole place needs some TLC. Few issues when we arrived were sorted out by the owner, which was good, but there are lots of little things that need some attention and given the price, were disappointing: the pool table was great but both cues have splits down them, table tennis table but only 1 ball, no parasol by the pool, so no shade. BBQ but no utensils, so we had to use kitchen utensils and burn our hands. One bin bag was provided, only 2 tee towels, no cleaning products whatsoever (guest shouldn’t be expected to buy an entire set of products for a 1 week stay), lamps in the main bedroom need USC cables but these aren’t provided. Smaller bathroom has no natural light as the window cannot be opened and no extractor fan. The second bedroom has no mirror. The cleaner (although a lovely lady) arrived 45 mins early on check out day and started cleaning outside. It didn’t interfere with us but we felt under pressure to hurry and leave. It wouldn’t take a lot to sort out most of these things, but it felt a bit like someone set this place up as a rental property a while ago and hasn’t updated anything since.
