Charming Portland Home, Walk to Light Rail!

This is a cute 1930's era cottage in a quiet neighborhood. The furnishings were very comfortable and worked well for our family of six. The owner has added all sorts of supplies in the kitchen (spices, oil, condiments) and bathroom (shampoo, body soap). The location is out of the hustle of the city, which was nice, but it does take a little while with city traffic to get places. We appreciated having the light rail stop within easy walking distance. We enjoyed taking walks down to the river and walking the trails at Elk Rock Island. We also enjoyed wandering around Sellwood, which is a charming neighborhood about ten minutes to the north. There are cute shops, restaurants and a wonderful park with a playground and river access.

We had plans to go into downtown Portland one day, but it would have been a long trip with little ones along. So, the location is great for east side activities, but it does take awhile to get to downtown or the west side of the city.

Visiting family up the road, good location and easy to take metro to Portland.

This property had the MOST comfortable beds and living room furniture that I’ve ever seen in an air bnb.
