Waterfront Cottage in Fort Towson w/ 2 Decks!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in early November. We had a wonderful stay! The owner was very responsive and very friendly. The cabin was clean, and stocked with everything we needed. Coffee pot with filters and coffee, bowls, plates, glasses, coffee cups, pots, pans, pillows, blankets, throw blankets, towels, cup towels, wash cloths, shampoo, body wash, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. There were several items in the food pantry, and plenty of supplies in the front bathroom closet. There is a small microwave, full-size refrigerator, and full-size oven. There is also a really great stereo sound system. The description stated that there wasn't any air conditioning, but there is a really nice, efficient air conditioning/heating unit in the living room, and also a portable air conditioning unit in the bedroom. There is also a very nice heater in the full bathroom, along with a stacked washer and dryer. The WiFi worked great! Never had any problems. The electric reclining couch in the living room was amazing. It reclines almost flat, and was very comfortable. We could have both slept on it. The other couch folds out to make a bed. It stormed and rained much of the time we were there, so we didn't get to use the lower deck, but there is a grill and a patio table with chairs. We did get a chance to walk down to the dock. The view was beautiful, and would be a perfect place to fish. The covered upper deck was nice. There were several chairs with attached side tables, and a separate small end table. I took a lot of pictures and will post as many as I can. Everything was great, and we will definitely stay there again!

We can't think of anything we didn't like or anything that could be changed to make it better. This cabin is perfect for a couple, with room for 1 or 2 more people.

Jeff was a super host. We had an issue up-front but he made it right and was so eager to make us happy and comfortable. We felt truly valued as guests. The property is cozy, perfect for 2, might be a bit tight for 4, but all updated and with nice new furniture and features. Great wifi & TV reception as well. It came stocked with everything you might need, even had coffee & filters, dinnerware, utensils, towels, blankets, soap, lotion, shampoo etc. which was a very nice suprise.

The back deck steps have no solar lights, this needs to be fixed immediately, as I fell coming off what I didn't realize was another step. Easy fix, but an insurance liability for sure !! Also the runner rugs going into the bedroom need to be secured down with carpet grippers as they slide pretty badly.
