About this house rental
Living in a former windmill from the 19th century, just a few meters from the Wadden Sea on the bay of Mont Saint Michel. The original architecture was preserved during the renovation of the mill, which is now a national monument. Especially the imposing fireplace and the exposed wooden beams in the interior create a cozy atmosphere. The living area is on the ground floor, a sleeping area on the first floor and an open sleeping loft with a low ceiling height (approx. 1 m), which can also be used as a small reading corner, on the second floor. The mill is located on a 900 square meter nature reserve. Depending on the tide - the sea can retreat up to 7 km here - you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea and the majestic Klosterberg or the vast mudflats. Cherrueix is a small village on the border between Brittany and Normandy and therefore an ideal starting point to get to know these two attractive regions.
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house Non smoking accommodation. not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Bring towels. Caravans are not allowed on the premises. Bring bed linen. No WLAN. Charging of e-vehicles not permitted

We had a lovely week at the mill, although the kitchen equipment was a bit poor and not everything was as tidy as we expected; there were cobwebs everywhere.
