Host & Stay - Foggyshaw Lodge

It was clean, spacious and well stocked with equipment. It was situated in a quiet village with lovely views from all upstairs windows. There was a lovely welcome pack for us. The facilities included washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker etc. The kitchen was a joy to cook on, the bathrooms had lovely hot showers and the beds were all very comfortable.

You needed a car to get to nearest shop and we would have come with more basic groceries like bread and butter if we had realized. The two settees in the open plan area are two low and soft. We could not sit comfortably in them. And needed up with back ache. The settees in the smaller sitting room were comfortable but the TV was of an older type and we could not programme it to our personal subscriptions , so the choice was comfy seating with poor TV choice, or good Tv choice but poor seating and back ache.

Foggyshaw Lodge had a spacious and fully equipped kitchen, and two living rooms. We especially liked the quiet location. There was private parking next to the front door. The open moor was only a few steps away. Three bedrooms worked well for our adult family.

There wasn't a distant view from the lounge window.

Beautiful property, lovely location for Nidderdale. Everyone friendly. Lovely decor and all essentials available. Would be nice to have a couple of board games available.
