Sompteux appartement proche de L'Opéra

Once inside, the apartment was very good -- just fine for my husband and me for a week. We loved having the washer and good clothes rack. There is a fantastic boulangerie across the street, and supermarkets are nearby. The living room area was a little tight, but it worked fine. The kitchen area, though small, was furnished very nicely. We had 3 dinners in the apartment.

Getting into the apartment was extremely difficult. The directions weren't at all clear. The foyer and stairwell appeared to be under construction, and were pretty unappealing, but the apartment was fine once we were in. By U.S. counting, it's on the 3rd floor with no elevator, so be prepared. Several reviews have complained about tons of water on the floor from the shower (this happened to us the first night), but there's a simple solution: just pull the glass door toward you after you step into the shower. That way, any water hitting it will drip off into the shower, not onto the floor. Also, it took me a day to figure out that you need to depress the little button on the shower temperature dial to get it to rotate above lukewarm. It's probably a safety feature to prevent scalding, but it had me stymied :)

We arrive a little bit earlier and they arrange to give us the keys.

All the apartments were excellent, super nice facilities, super equipment, and a good location. The only thing was the shower that leaked water and the bathroom that got all wet.

très bien situé et bien équipé, globalement bien essayé, ça pouvait être super si toutefois ...

... mais trop de petits défauts cumulés pour en faire un top, je mets en avant, principalement, le décalage entre les intentions et la gentillesse de la conciergerie et leur réelle capacité à résoudre des problèmes. Mauvais lit d'appoint, table griffée et très usée, environnement très bruyant (chantier, échaffaudages, poubelles, ... et des travaux à la massue dans le bâtiment qui vous réveillent en sursaut !) rez de chaussée très peu accueillant (mauvaise odeur!!), personnel qui sort les poubelles avec fracas tous les matins sous la fenêtre... une douche qui ne s'écoule pas et qui déborde partout même après intervention de la maintenance ... Mais oui, j'ai reçu une remise de 20% sur un prochain séjour à Paris pour ces désagréments, c'est bien aimable mais ça ne me sert absolument pas :-) Merci néanmoins d'avoir essayé
