Great potential, but not great in 2025
- a fantastic location and beautiful garden - a stylish and well decorated house, great for a family with kids - the table tennis table is great - the trees make the garden cool and lovely even in the heat - the common pool is very large and spacious
- the house is charming but very dated and desperately in need of a deep clean and a better cleaner maintaining it. I complained about the cleanliness and a cleaner was sent but she didn’t touch the kitchen, the sinks in the bathrooms or the tiles all of which I had mentioned as having issues) - there was rust in the bathrooms (e.g. a bathroom toiletries shelf that was all rusty) and while some items were replaced while we were there, it just shows that the owners didn’t put in any effort into updating the house before starting to let it - generally, the house felt like you were visiting an old relative’s old house, not a professionally let house. There were random items in the kitchen drawers, the pots and pans were old and scratched out. - the bedsheets didn’t fit the beds well - the flat sheets kept coming off the beds and the pillowcases were too small for the pillows so the pillows ended up scrunched up inside the pillowcases - the outside of the house (windows, blinds, outside patio, mosquito nets all need cleaning) - the pool area is not well maintained - the tiles need professional cleaning. There are no chairs / sunbeds to leave your stuff on I would say the house has excellent potential but it needs both an initial upgrade and cleaning and then better maintenance. It is simply not worth the money that is being charged for it at the moment.
