Stunning view but at a cost

- The view was stunning as you're at the highest point in the city - Spacious and clean rooms - Nice balcony - Sun blocking rolling shutters

- The design of the bathroom. Taking a shower meant that the entire bathroom was soaking wet - Getting to the private parking spot was a real challenge if you're not used to uphill driving. Our car nearly didn't make it - Far away from the city centre. Not in actual distance, but since everything is uphill this was a battle every trip - Right in front of the appartment the terrain was not very pretty

Could have been better

Free parking at the location (it is the only facility at the top of the hill). The rooms are very clean, big, both have functional AC and TV, the apartment has a huge balcony, great views. Also, both rooms have a mini-fridge each.

We booked an apartment, but realised at the location that it did not have a kitchen (my bad, did not check properly). We assumed, given the fact that it was listed as an apartment, that it provided a kitchen, but it only has two separate bedrooms and one bathroom. The location is not the one pinned on the map, it is only the meeting point (Planet Market) with the host, and after that they will take you to the location, which is much much far and higher (it is the 7th or 8th street upwards, the market is on the 3rd), and the road is very steep. We almost did not make it with our car. By feet, from the beach, it took us 45 minutes to get to the location and almost 20 minutes from the Planet Market. The host - even though seemed nice via messages, when we arrived she mentioned nonchalantly that she can cancel our booking if we the kitchen was so important to us (it was almost 8pm in the evening), not at all client-oriented. Somehow disappointing. Otherwise, we did not have any other interaction.

Updated rental with breakfast option in a challenging location.

Updated rental with a spectacular view of Saranda and the adjacent hillside communities.

The hillside location is at the top of a (very) steep & curving unpaved road requiring either a rental car for frequent trips into town or a healthy heart and stamina to make the 20 minute climb.

Perfect place in town with the most amazing staff

The house was exceptionally clean , and the grounds was stunning. The views were beautiful and the family who run the house made our stay . They were so very helpful and there when we needed them . I would highly recommend booking . It’s not far from the main town but away so you’re not in the loud strip of Sarande . Can’t wait to come and stay again will definitely book again . We loved our stay

NON ALLOGGIATE QUI

La vista era bella.

Esperienza assurda e molto deludente. Da evitare. Prenotato per 3 notti (25–28 luglio), ma siamo scappati dopo la prima. Dalle foto sembrava un posto curato, con vista bellissima e posizione centrale. Peccato che la realtà sia tutt’altra storia. La struttura si trova in collina, molto in alto: 18 minuti a piedi dal lungomare, ma il problema vero è la strada per arrivarci. NIENTE asfalto, solo sterrato, buche, pietre, salita ripidissima e pericolosa. Con la nostra macchina a noleggio (quasi 300.000 km) è stato un incubo salire una sola volta, rischiando gomme e motore. Il parcheggio c'è... ma solo se sopravvivi alla strada. Il proprietario ci ha detto che si poteva lasciare l’auto giù in città, ma a Saranda trovare parcheggio è impossibile, specialmente dopo il pomeriggio, con traffico e turisti ovunque. Un incubo continuo, ogni volta che dovevi rientrare. Risultato? Abbiamo perso le altre due notti, buttato soldi e stress inutili. E questo non è tutto. La struttura non conviene economicamente: 25€ a persona a notte per un appartamento su una collina scomoda, senza servizi adeguati. Per poco più (30€) trovi hotel in pieno centro, veri 3 stelle, comodi e accessibili. Il bagno era indecente: Nessun bidet, né doccino per l’igiene intima Scarico della doccia malfunzionante: l’acqua scorre verso il resto del bagno Nessun porta carta igienica, neanche uno da 5€ del cinese Booking dovrebbe verificare meglio le strutture prima di assegnare 8,4 di valutazione e 3 pallini. Questa è pubblicità ingannevole. La vista non basta se la qualità è così bassa. Sconsigliata, soprattutto se arrivate in macchina. Abbiamo imparato a nostre spese.

Det var rent og flot værelse

Adressen på booking er ikke hvor den ligger. Den ligger hundrede meter oppe af en meget stejl bakke, der kræver lidt at gå op ad. Udsigten fra balkonen var ikke som lovet, men med udsigt ind i en bjergside. Mangler skiltning og korrekt adresse.

Mooie plaats met mooi uitzicht

Uitzicht was prachtig!

We hebben laatste dagen, slechter weer gehad! Konden we niet veel doen. De tv werkte niet. Om naar centrum te gaan moest je minstens 15min wandelen, was je kletsnat… maar daar kan de hostesses ook niks aan doen!

La posizione molto in alto dal centro di Saranda, circa 20/25 di salite e scalini impervi. E la strada pericolosa e molto ciottolosa per arrivarci con la macchina utilitaria
