Great breakfast. Interesting quirky property. Wonderful views
There were 66 exterior staps up to the property. Had we known we would have asked for an alternative with less steps. We should have known about steps in advance. Luckily it didn't rain.
There was no shower, only a bath

The setting and architecture is brilliant!
The steps inside the pod are very step and not for the faint hearted.

The view exceotional, quirky tasteful design , well equipped, lovely shower room, warm, comfy bed, location was exceptional.
No curtain or blind on the downstairs window which made us feel a bit exposed but we loved it anyway. Bring a gown!

Such an amazing place. Really inspiring what the Onion Collective have achieved here. Our pod was simply stunning, with stories on all the walls about the history of Watchet. Each bed is wonderfully located for a snug feel or for a view. Super clean, everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Just really really impressed. Also Georgie is so lovely.
Nothing.

Location
Very small pod which literally felt like it moved as it was very windy and the pod was very exposed
Bed was only accessible from one side the unfinished hardboard is probably trendy but felt like we were inside a coffin

Great location overlooking the harbour
Be prepared for swaying in the wind!! The whole pod moved all night as it was very windy. I didn’t mind, but hubby got a bit seasick! 😅

The stairs up to the bedroom very dangerous especially at night time

My family loved the pod, it was unusual which had everyone excited, views over the harbour, extra sheets, pillows and towels.
Wasn’t keen on the shower/ wet room.

Reception was open until 5pm, enough time was given to get to reception and to collect the key.
In the past when staying at the site, if arrival was after time, the key's could be collected from the restaurant by organising with onsite manager.
Public transport can be extremely unreliable going to site on Friday and leaving on Monday, but I have never had anything wrong on the site itself in the many years or staying in East Quay Pod4

The location was good near to shops and places to eat. However, not many places serving food of an evening on a Sunday which you should be mindful of as a traveler, especially if you have children. It was quite and the views over the harbour we stunning of an evening and the morning. Very clean place and helpful staff.
To be honest the breakfast although nice was quite expensive for a family of 5 and the portions were not that big.

Quirky but comfortable stay in a unique hotel with amazing views. The pod offered all amenities and a comfy bed.
Less suitable for people with mobility issues.

The design of the pod was so exciting to be inside where the amazing sunset was filling the big windows .We loved the little kitchen and the upstairs sitting room . And the accesible bathroom on the ground floor with the fabulous shower. Comfortable beds. It was a lot of fun. Nice cafe downstairs ,the staff were super helpful.
I really think that you could offer a parking space to the people staying in the pods , it would add to the feel good factor.

Location, view, style, "kitchen" restaurant onsite.. We would stay again.
We thought that whilst the tagged memorabilia was a charming idea at first, there are now so many that it undermines the concept and becomes a negative. The number of items and tags is so great that it fills all of the shelves and surfaces:. As a result we did not find the information board in amongst all of the souvenirs until the day we left. The locks need lubrication but management knows this and a programme of works is in hand.

Needed a blind for the door as very bright in room by 6am.

The location was idyllic, the food wonderful and the hosts lovely. The pod was amazing, I enjoyed the views from the pod and from the East Quay. The shop and restaurant had such a lovely range of produce too, I treated myself to a new bag and earrings. I will be visiting again with friends.

Perfect one/two stay
The bath view is fab ❤️
Love it all … but would like a larger mug to make ☕️ coffee. The 2 cups are great quality but too small.

Great location
Quirky place to stay
Great views across the harbour
Noise from the evening Dj’s and event music /noise seems to head straight up to the pods (we were in 6)
Worth checking what’s going on if you want a quiet evening

Location was fab, amazing views!
Everyone friendly and helpful
We had to leave at 8.15am and no one at reception to check out. Luckily there was someone in the kitchen to hand them over to even though the kitchen wasn’t open either.

We liked the quirkiness of our stay in Pod 1. The best thing was the view from the window - fantastic. The apartment was clean and warm. The bed was comfortable…
If you have any mobility issues the stairs are very steep. The bath tub sofa is clearly an object for discussion for visitors as it is visible from outside but it is not comfortable to sit in and faces entirely the wrong way for the view.

The receptionist asked if we would need any milk and as I was travelling with my dad and it was a double bed, she arranged for a camp bed to be put in the bedroom. Such a lovely gesture and we were very touched and grateful.
Excellent location, beautiful views
We had two pods but only one had a microwave.
The cost was quite high but we have a discount code now to book for next year.

Everything was perfect. I stayed on my own but already planning to come back with my family.

I was delayed arriving due to car trouble and had my son still with me which I hadn't planned but it was no problem. Collected the key from the cafe downstairs and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Food in there was lovely. Fantastic view from the pod and really comfortable, light and excellent facilities. Brilliant location and Watchet was wonderful. One of the friendliest places I've ever been to.
Nothing at all. Only tiny issue was that the door stuck a little getting into it but not a problem as it only happened when I was leaving and staff went straight to check it when I told them about it so it would be sorted for the next guest.
