About this house rental
The sounds of water cascading down the Chattahoochee River as it begins it long journey through Georgia is all you hear while perched on the covered porch overlooking the river in downtown Helen. This quaint one bedroom, with one king bed and pull out sofa, comfortably sleeps 4. In the summer while tubing, use this home as a pit stop to grab a quick lunch while enjoying the lazy river through town as it winds down to the southern side. This vacation spot is also very handicapped friendly with a ramp along the side from the paved driveway including ample room for easy wheel chair access into the shower and bathroom area. River Song is perfectly named for that downtown location with soothing sounds of the river, and easy walking access to all the main attractions Helen as to offer. Local landmark, Betty's Country Store, is just a couple of short blocks away!

I truly enjoy being able to walk from the cabin to wherever I wanted to go in Helen the atmosphere was just what I needed, everyone was so friendly, truly had a wonderful time.

The house was adorable and the perfect location. It's right on the water and walking distance to downtown, actually just a couple of blocks from Betty's. There was a minor issue with the hot tub when we got there but management was very responsive and it was quickly handled.The house was clean and very ADA friendly. My only critique would maybe be a newer mattress and more hooks or towel bars in the bathroom and maybe a couple of rocking chaira on the front porch. Its a beautiful porch that we spent alot of time on but the metal chairs were a bit rough.

Just me and the wife walked around down town did some shopping and set on the porch and listing to the river with a glass of wine.

Took our first trip to Helen from Florida. The house was very clean and accommodating for two and the location was perfect. Short walk into town, enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the babbling creek and enjoyed live music across the way. The only complaint I have is that the hot tub area is not private at all, it is overlooking the street. I would suggest some kind of privacy screen or trees. I did not use the hot tub since it was not private. Otherwise, a great place to stay!
