Vila MeriS

Det är ett fint och trevligt hus som är fullt utrustat. Nära till havet.

Vi trodde vi skulle bo inne i Durres men det var ca två mil dit samt att kommunikation som taxi utgick från Tirana vilket också är flera mil. Tillgång av färdmedel är ett måste om man vill göra mer än bara sol och bad.

Everything was like it was in the pictures. The villa has everything you could need, coffe maker, electric oven, microwave oven, big TV in the livingroom with internet connection and Netflix, all the glasses, pots and pens, even electric hairdryer for my wife. The Wifi is good. Location was 3 minutes walk from the beach. GPS was a little off but the owner came and picked us up. The beach is generous, fine sand, paid 1000 Lek (around 9.8 euro) for two beach chairs and umbrella. The water was ok, got dirsty with bits of trash and algae on Saturday but during the week was pretty clean.

Not as much a dislike, more a suggestion. The refrigerator's door did not close hermetically so the frige made lots of ice inside. Still cooled everything ok but probably consumed way too much electricity. As for the location, there are lots of very tall pine trees and lots of birds and bugs. I like a bird song as much as the next guy but it was a bit too much, especially in the morning
