Love on the Slopes – Birthday, Anniversary & Valentines
From the very first moment, everything felt right. The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive and thoughtful. Our arrival day was also my fiancé’s birthday, and that same week we were celebrating our anniversary and Valentine’s Day. I contacted the hosts in advance with a small request, and what they prepared for us was such a beautiful and discreet surprise. When we arrived, they secretly arranged everything so I could see it first – a big cake, a gift and champagne waiting for him. It was truly emotional and unforgettable. We even took the champagne with us to the ski slopes and toasted there, celebrating love and life in the mountains. The apartment itself was absolutely amazing – honestly even better than in the photos. Warm, cozy, very clean and extremely comfortable. It felt like a real home, not just a place to sleep. The kitchen was very well equipped, including a Nespresso machine and a kettle. There is no oven, but there is a microwave, which was more than enough for us during a ski holiday. Everything was thoughtfully arranged and easy to use. The location is excellent – Mauterndorf and Katschberg ( skiing places ) are only about five - ten minutes away by car. We also visited Obertauern and treated ourselves to a wonderful spa day at Lürzerhof. The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet, with fresh mountain air and no noise at all. All shops are very close as well – within five minutes by car you’ll find Hofer, Spar and Billa (with amazing donuts!), which made everything very convenient. Minor details, just for future guests: Girls with long hair should know that the water pressure in the shower is a bit low, so washing long hair can take a little longer. The apartment also gets a lot of natural light very early in the morning, so we would recommend a sleeping mask if you are sensitive to light. These are truly small details and did not affect our stay at all – just honest notes. What truly made this stay special were the hosts.

Rustige ligging met volop ruimte in huis. Op tweede verdieping. Klein skigebied maar goede voorzieningen.
Er is weinig te doen in het dorp. Als je daarvan houdt is dat helemaal goed!

Elke kamer heeft een eigen badkamertje, dat is erg prettig! Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien. De hosts zijn erg gastvrij.
De bedden waren vrij hard.
