About this apartment rental
The Upper Waterfront Suite is about 1,350 square feet and features views of the Coupeville wharf, Penn Cove, and the Inn’s garden. It has a fully appointed chef’s kitchen with an LG double oven and a separate combination microwave and convection oven, LG refrigerator with Multi-Air Flow Freshness System, a narrow deck perched above Penn Cove, a gas fireplace, two bedrooms each with a queen bed with a Stearns and Foster hand-tufted mattress, a sleeping cot/sofa in one of the bedrooms, two custom-tiled bathrooms, Wi Fi, air conditioning, in-unit LG washer and dryer, and a family room loft (accessible by spiral staircase) that used to be the lookout for incoming ships. Beds are made up with 100% cotton linens and down-filled duvets, with a down-alternative comforter provided in each closet. Sets of both down and down-alternative pillows are provided on each bed.
The Inn sits on the shores of Penn Cove, a sheltered bay of the Salish Sea, part of the Pacific Ocean. It is center of the historic district and yards away from the Coupeville wharf. Seals, otters, heron, deer and eagles are commonly seen from the Inn. Seasonally, Gray and Orca whales can also be seen from the Inn. The Coupeville wharf and Penn Cove is also an active boating area, offering views of the majestic sail and power boats docked at the wharf or taking advantage of the beauty of Penn Cove.

Salty Vons is an absolutely stunning waterfront home that looks like it belongs in Architectural Digest. The home was immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered, and the welcome gift was such a lovely touch.The outdoor deck was one of our favorite spaces, perfect for enjoying the morning sun with coffee while watching for whales and seals. We were lucky enough to see several while relaxing right from the deck, which made the stay even more special.Coupeville is a great central location for exploring Whidbey Island, while the town itself is quiet, charming, and peaceful. Our only regret is that we stayed just two nights, we truly wished we had booked longer.There was absolutely nothing missing and nothing we could suggest adding that would have made our visit more enjoyable. We would 100% stay here again and recommend Salty Vons without hesitation!

The hosts were easy to work with. Everything was top notch. The water views are amazing. You are on Main Street, and can easily walk to shopping and some great restaurants.

Modern water front apartment right on the main street of Coupeville with a view of the cove. Exquisitely clean and comfortable, and well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms.

This place is by far the best rental we have ever stayed at anywhere! Super clean, easy checkin and checkout, beautifully located and the property managers were above and beyond kind and helpful! Thanks Barbara and Von for the wonderful stay! We hope to be back again very soon.
