Parking with permit in nearby car park; additional on road parking. No smoking.. Millers Haven is a modern second floor apartment located right in the heart of the bustling town of Whitby. It is in a complex of 24 apartments called Union Mill that are named after the co-operative mill that was built there in the early 1800’s. It boasts of views of Whitby Abbey from most rooms and you can also enjoy the view over the rooftops in Whitby. It is a spacious, bright apartment with original artwork, tasteful décor and furnished to a very high standard. The property has eco- friendly, underfloor heating throughout that is provided by an air source heat pump and gives the apartment a cosy, welcoming feel to it. There is a secure entry system with either stairs to the apartment or a lift which is especially convenient for guests with limited mobility. The owner will provide you with parking permit to use in the Leisure Centre car park situated just 200 yards from the property where you can also enjoy swimming, badminton or attending the many exercise classes available there. Millers Haven provides an excellent base for couples and families looking for a holiday by the sea-side or indeed to explore the pretty villages dotted along the North York Moors National Park areas. A 5-minute walk will bring you to either 3 miles of golden beach or to the heart of the town with an abundance of activities and amenities to suit all the family.

Fantastic apartment with a great view and easy parking in the car park next door. A great place to explore Whitby from. It is at the top of a hill which would need to be considered for families with less mobile family members but for our family with 11 yo child it was no problem at all. There is a lift in the building which was handy for the bags. Can’t wait to go back!

The apartment is clean, well equipped and attractive. The views of the Abbey are lovely and a real treat. We have stayed for 3 nights, 3 times in November and March and have thoroughly enjoyed each stay. Plan to return.

our second time at millers haven but with different hosts, the place is very clean and modern, its in a convenient place with just a short walk into Whitby, definitely recommended
