Fresh penthouse apartment with great sea views

Very nice apartment complex, feels very safe with the gates and needing a key-fob to use the pool area. Apartment is top floor and feels very private on the terrace for you to enjoy the sun and relax. Sauna is a great addition, very easy to use and enjoy. Location is good, not great. Very short taxi into Estepona or a 25 minute walk to the main restaurants nearby. Luckily the nearby petrol station has a mini supermarket inside which is very convenient.

Despite the apartment complex being very nice, it was absolutely infested with House Martins/Swallows that are nesting in all the eve’s of the buildings. at certain points in the day there were 100’s of them swarming in the sky above and made it look like it was haunted! Additionally there seemed to be a property within the complex that had 2/3 dogs that would bark and howl for long spells at each other, luckily this was never really late at night or early in the morning, however very irritating nonetheless. The pillows provided were a real let down. Nothing short of 4 bags of air. Woke up most days with neck pain and had to create makeshift pillows from towels etc. I mistakenly read a review that said the property was fully equipped for self catering and took it for true. Unfortunately this is not the case. No pots, not one wooden spoon, no scissors & no oven(?!). Some glasses and cutlery were dirty and needing cleaning before using. The pool was nice and big but not deep, you couldn’t really properly even swim in it as you would hit your legs on the floor. I would use it in the morning and unfortunately it was often very dirty and full of debris from the trees that hadn’t been cleared. Didn’t realise until arrival that the property owner was also living in the same apartment. The property was separated, but you shared the entrance and hallway area - this felt a bit strange and probably would have liked to have been made aware of this prior to booking.

Cozy, comfortable apartment on the top floor with a beautiful bathroom and sauna attached and terraces with great views. Parking upfront and pet friendly. Two pools surrounded by gardens. Host nice, easy to communicate with.

It’s an older building complex and it shows. Plenty of stairs to climb. WiFi frustrating most of the time.

Sehr ruhige Lage. Zwei uneinsehbare Terrassen/Balkone zum „Chillen“. Kücheneinrichtung und - Ausstattung sind ok. In 10 min ist man am Strand und der Strandbar La Sal.:-) Kontakt mit Eigentümer läuft professionell über WhatsApp, um den Zugang zum Appartement zu erhalten.

The apartment is in a quiet urbanization. The roof terraces are great, one with table and chairs for outside eating and the other with 2 sun loungers for relaxing and sun-bathings.

It is a bit of a hike to the nearest beach in the heat, and only has a couple of restaurants locally. The sinks were not very clean as well as some of the crockery. The matteress and topper are covered in urine stains on both sides. They need to be cleaned or better still, replaced with new ones, and a waterproof matteress protector added to protect against future damage!! The shower heads need cleaning as mor than half of the spray holes are blocked with limescale. Seemed weird having no TV in the lounge, but one in the bedroom, and having 2 bathrooms, but in the lounge you face the kitchen.
