Magical Mermaid Beach is a beautiful near empty two-kilometre stretch of sand, bounded by Miami and Nobby's Beach to the south and busy Broadbeach to the north, which offers three pristine swimming areas patrolled by Mermaid Beach Life Saving Club (circa 1945). It is the ideal laidback spot for vacationers seeking a balance between relaxation, water activities, local sightseeing and of course, good food. Home to outstanding surf conditions, striking walking tracks and a stunning outlook at Queensland, there is nothing quite like the Mermaid Beach and this is one of the best places to visit in Gold Coast.

The rooms and bathrooms well presented and comfortable. Unit had all we needed in it. Bit confusing when we had no power to the lights, and could not find the power box. The kitchen, dining and lounge area needs a good clean. Back and front doors were filthy with fluff and grit . Floor rug was filthy and stained, ends turned up (trip hazard). Under couches have not been vacuumed or broomed for a long while. Vacuum cleaner was useless and would not suck up anything . I swept out and done the floors with boiling water and floor cleaner to make them clean to walk on . Unbelievable how the rooms were perfect clean and fresh and the let down was the living area , the first part of what you see when you walk in . Apart from that , I would recommend this apartment to other family and friends .

Great little apartment that fit our family of five without too much trouble. The location is amazing with the beach right at your doorstep. Sunrises were worth getting up for!
A Woolworths was a block away, so groceries were easy to get. Along with numerous cafes and surf clubs nearby, we had a great time exploring the area.

Was a fantastic property, overall clean and well kept. Loved having the few little extra things around the house which made our stay more comfortable such as hair dryers, great laundry facilities, etc.
Negatives was the listing said there was in sight parking. Not true, as far as we could tell there are indeed garages for the apartments in the complex, but there was no access to any of them for the unit rented. There are a few parks just out the front but being the extremely busy beach access point it is we often had to park down a block or two which certainly wasn’t ideal for the family especially with the little one. But sometimes we’d fluke one of the parks. Also couldn’t find any rubbish bins on the property, so ended up using the wheelie bin located out the front intended for general public at the beach access point.
Over all was a fantastic stay! Great unit and super relaxing. Fantastic family friendly beach with life guards close by.
