Superb stay on the sea

Everything. Wonderful home in a beautiful location,right on the sea. This has everything you need, plus many extras to make you comfortable. Owners have created an amazing little gem. Our family of 8 adults & a new baby, we're well taken care of.

Loved being here - would come back again.

The place was spotless and very comfortable. The location on top of the seawall was amazing as we watched the tides come and go. Everything that we needed was there. We loved having the convenience store across the street (which had fresh breads every morning)

The location was perfect and the views were stunning. I was travelling with older parents so the option of rooms and bathroom on the ground floor was great

Kathleen's Cottage was like home away from home. It had everything you needed including plenty of hot water for showers. It was very clean and comfortable. The views from the bedrooms and the kitchen/living room were spectacular.

Beautiful location and very convenient

The location right on the Sea. You could watch the sunset in the comfort of your living room. Also to have a supermarket across the road is like having the most amazing well-stocked pantry/fridge as you can just pop across and get what you want. We didn't use the pub/restaurant, but again, it is literally across the road. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cooking items so you can easily self-cater.

Our first stop for our first stay in Ireland - a great introduction!

The location was fabulous-easy walking to bus station to get many places and restaurant and pub easily within walking distance. Be aware Sundsys much is closed so plan ahead. Great bakery across the street only open Saturday-Sunday closed and Monday was holiday we did not know about.

It was old but lovely and worth the inconveniences.

Wonderful home on the beach.

On the beach and across from the restaurant, bar, shop and takeaway. Lovely walks, quiet spot. Half hour from kilkee/ Ennis, close to Spanish point and a host of lovely beaches. All facilities you could think of in the house. Clean, comfortable.. Excellent. Thanks!

Beautiful, modern, spotless amazing views could ask for nothing more.

Absolutely amazing relaxing family break, shop right beside proper bought fresh soda bread every morning. Host was so accommodating. We could drive to all local attractions, beaches and restaurants. Our only regret is not staying longer we will 200% be back.

Beautiful location right by the sea. You could hear the waves crashing and the seabirds chirping if you left the window open. Handy shop and chipper across the road and a quiet pub. Perfect for a family or group holiday.

Maybe a few more comfy seats in the living room would be good. Another couch perhaps.

Kathleens Cottage is beautiful and incredibly comfortable. There is spectacular views from the house. The house is very well equiped and Fiona was very welcoming. Would definitely stay again. Best self catering holiday home we've stayed in over 13 years holidaying in Clare.

Perfect little cottage by the sea

Fiona is a wonderful host and so diligent/helpful. The cottage is lovely the view from the big windows in the living areas across the bay is gorgeous. The cottage is modern and well presented with comfy beds. It has everything you could need and Fiona offered to drop more towels off if we needed them. Lots of parking near by if you bring more than one car. Plently of equipment in the kitchen which is great for travelling with kids. The location is lovely right on the beach and easy to reach Ennis and beyond. We would love to stay again when we are over to visit our Grandfather.

Only improvement might be some wifi as we needed to hotspot our phone to support remote working. Appreciate that the place is newly listed and wifi can take time to be installed and the listing does say no wifi. Also others might also enjoy time away from the internet. Otherwise the place is perfect and you won't regret you stay.

excellent location - couldn’t be nearer the sea! Fiona and her family were welcoming and although not intrusive, we’re on hand should we need any help. very relaxing break.
