Charming Two-Bedroom Apartment with balcony and Garage by the Marina

Antibes is amazing,and the location of this property was fantastic. The layout of the apartment is great,and it was comfortable.

The thing that impacted us most was only one key and one fob among three people. This was an ongoing inconvenience to us. It meant that if one person came home first, they had to stay awake to let others in. When questioned, the agent said a previous guest lost it "some time ago". Beyond that the maintenance was poor - the door to balcony did not shut properly, which from previous gues comments goes back to 2023. Some lights not working or flickering. No response when we reported this. No response as to whether it was possible to buzz someone in from the apartment - we eventually figured it out. An issue for the overall property,not the apartment owner - the hallways are pitch black with no natural light. The light does not come on until you have taken about five steps outside the apartment into the hallway. Eventually you figure to leave the door open as you step into the hallway,and hope the light will come on before door closes. I would not recommend the apartment due to the solo key and poor maintenance, but neither would I warn against it once they know about these issues.. The issue of the lighting could affect some more than others, so I'd bear that in mind if booking, or even just be ready to use torch on your phone

The location was excellent - 5 minutes walk from the station (we arrived by train from the airport and used the great train service to travel along the coast to visit Cannes and Menton) and 5 minutes walk to the old town, Gravette beach, bakery, restaurants and supermarket. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, with efficient air con, and good cooking facilities. There are 2 bathrooms (1 with a shower, 1 with a bath) but there is only 1 toilet. We enjoyed having meals outside on the balcony. There is a lovely view of the marina from the bedroom windows, but not the balcony.

Some shade on the balcony would have been helpful as it was sometimes too hot to use.

Lage war ok, die Wohnung soweit in Ordnung.

Eine Klimaanlage ist ausgefallen und meine Nachricht dazu wurde ignoriert. Die Tiefgarage ist sehr schmutzig. Man konnte nicht einmal das Garagentor anfassen, vor Dreck, geschweige etwas abstellen. Der Boden der Wohnung war nicht so sauber. Der Blick zum Hafen war vom Schlafzimmer aus, vom Balkon war keine schöne Aussicht.
