Hostal La Medina de Camponaraya

The rooms are a very nice blend of old and new. My interactions with hobby were terrific, I had a problem with the television and texted him at 9 o’clock at night and he was there at 9:10 to fix the problem!! I really appreciate his service, he serves as a model for all in capers in Spain.

The housekeeper really needs to check that basic things are functioning, like the television :-) this is even more important when the Spain national team is playing that evening :-) :-)

Huge room with interesting decorative touches like the beautiful Middle Eastern light fixture. Bery clean and beda very comfortable.

Some noise from road; reception is around the corner with access from side road, which wasn’t in the information.

It was very comfortable and clean, and beautiful as well.Perfect location on the Camino.

The room was clean and warm. Beds ok. Shower ok.

The location was so disappointing. Everything was closed except the supermarket - thankfully - or we would have had nothing to eat after walking 27kms to get there. Hostel advertised dinner, bar and the location boasts restaurants and plenty of facilities. We found one place open and they refused to serve us food even though signs out the front advertised food !! Strange place. Unwelcoming town. Maybe red up with pilgrims who visit but business is business.
