The chef's kitchen is the heart of the home, featuring top-of-the-line appliances, including a 6-burner stove, dual ovens, and ample counter space—perfect for preparing meals for your loved ones. Adjacent to the kitchen is a coffee and wet bar with a dual Keurig & drip coffee maker and a wine fridge. Nice location close to all attractions. Clean and extremelyroomy. Loved the coffee bar and downstairs fridge, bar and shuffleboard table. Convenient for cooking out on provided grill and setting by a fire with plenty of provider chairs and great firepit. Large yard for the kids to burn off some excess energy!

We loved staying here for a weekend ski trip. Close to Devils Head and Cascade, with plenty of space to relax at the end of the day. Would definitely go back.

We were very impressed with the Golden Bear Lodge and would stay there again. We had issues with the heat while we were there but the owners were so quick to take care of it for us. Overall, it was really wonderful

Received an email in the am of arrival that we could check in at 1pm. We arrived at 1:20 and the cleaning lady was still there cleaning and said the house has been closed up for the winter… she was doing yard work.. the house was not finished. We decided to leave and get some lunch. Got back at 3ish and she was still there. The fridge was not clean… the fridge door handle was broke… the fridge was still dirty… (she wiped it out) the double oven only had 1 working oven… we had 13 of us staying there and planned on cooking there… we decided we could grill out… but the propane tanks were empty and the grill was disgusting. We had to clean it before we could use it. The cleaning lady said that’s not her job to do… we did unhook the propane tanks for her and she did get them filled for us. Loads of Towels were still in the dryer for us to fold & put away otherwise the cleaning gal would have been there until 4ish.
Overall the house is beautiful, beds were okay.. the game room was a bonus for everyone ….the bedrooms were clean and the main floor was clean.
Also on a pretty busy hwy 33 that you can hear traffic noise at nite
I booked this 3 months prior and felt this property should have been in better working condition especially for the $5800 we paid to stay there for 4 nites.
