Overall, this was a very cute and cozy place to stay for a small group of people. Just my girlfriend and I stayed here toward the end of the week and through the weekend.Pretty location on Little Sand Lake in Ashland/Grant, MI.

The check in was seamless. Stephen gave us the door code well before check in. The kitchen had everything we needed.

My husband and I brought our 2 young children with us on a little anniversary family getaway. We all had the best time. This cottage is quaint, clean & charming. We loved waking up to the views of the lake each morning, enjoying meals out on the deck, cooling off in the lake & star gazing by the far at night. The water was clear and there was a nice, small sandy area for the kids. We visited the nearby (about 10 min) town of Grant several times and were very impressed with the selection at Gene's Family Market, and enjoyed our dinners from Andrea's Pizza & El Jalapeno. We cooled off in the beautiful Muskegon River at the nearby town of Newaygo & they have tubing/kayak rentals there. We also went to Michigan's Adventure theme park, (about 30 min away) and Lake Michigan (about 45 min away). The owner was very helpful & easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this home & would love to return in the future. All in all it was a perfect, serene escape from busy suburbia life.
