Apartamento Emperatriz

La ubicación es magnífica. El apartamento está bastante nuevo y estaba también limpio. Tiene un garaje comunitario aunque sin plazas adjudicadas y nosotros pudimos aparcar dentro, lo que fue un punto a favor muy importante.

Se nos fue la luz un par de veces. La primera de ellas tardó varias horas en volver. Se echa de menos que tenga lavavajillas y la cafetera tampoco funcionaba bien.

El apartamento está genial. Muy buena ubicación, camas muy cómodas, muy nuevo, cocina con todo lo necesario, aire acondicionado centralizado, parking incluido...

El apartamento tiene WiFi, pero no sabían decirnos cual era el número de router y no logramos encontrarlo.

Muy limpio, está en la primera línea de playa

The apartment was very clean, modern, spacious and well equipped, particularly the kitchen. Good air conditioning and an excellent location right beside the beach.

Unfortunately, despite the lovely apartment, we would not stay again due to how unhelpful and inflexible we found the hosts. Booking.com states that someone will meet you at the apartment with the keys, but this does not seem to be the case. Instead, collecting the keys involves a 50-minute walk each way, which is extremely inconvenient after a flight with lots of luggage and a toddler. We were also disappointed that, despite asking twice, a travel cot could not be provided. Given the size of the apartment, we felt this was a reasonable request, particularly as travel cots are relatively inexpensive. Having one available would have made travelling with a young child considerably easier. Instead, we had to bring our own cot from Ireland, carrying it through buses, trains and airports. This was an unnecessary inconvenience and another example of the lack of practical support for families travelling with young children. There were also no spare bed sheets provided, so we had no way of changing the bed linen during our week-long stay. We would have expected at least one spare set to be available. Towards the end of our holiday, our toddler became unwell. Check-out is at 11am and check-in is not until 4pm, so we asked if it would be possible to pay for a slightly later check-out. Even an additional hour would have helped enormously, but unfortunately no flexibility was offered at all, despite us being willing to pay. We understand that late check-out cannot always be accommodated, but given the circumstances, this was particularly disappointing. The apartment itself deserves praise, but unfortunately the standard of hospitality did not match the standard of the accommodation. From the key collection to the lack of basic provisions such as a cot for young families and the complete lack of flexibility when our toddler became unwell, we were left feeling that very little effort was made to make our stay easier.
