Perfect for our visit to friends for a 70th birthday celebration.

Would have loved to stay for longer!

Perfect for a one night stopover

Not a full menu available because it was a Sunday but they very kindly opened the restaurant and we enjoyed a lovely pork eggs & chips meal

The hotel is about an hour's drive to Santander for catching a morning ferry. There is plenty of onsite (free) parking. The staff were very helpful and keen to help.

When we arrived, the hotel looked like a deserted house in the middle of an empty carpark. We attempted to go to reception and the doors were locked - we thought we had been tricked into booking a non-functioning hotel. A lady came to the door and welcomed us into a lobby area and tried (successfully) to communicate with us using Google translate on her phone. She told us we would need to drive 5 minutes to a motorway service station for our breakfast. The bar and dining room were closed for winter. The reception area was really cold, a bit grubby and not at all inviting. We would be the only guests staying overnight in the hotel. We spoke directly with the manager (by phone) and cancelled our reservation on the assurance we would not be charged. We left after thanking the lady member of staff.
