The location was not in the Medina, This meant I had to explore. Once I did this I realised how perfectly it was located. Near big supermarkets local shops and in a local neighbourhood.. Near to the sea.To get to the Medina you could use hose and cart , to the beach and walk along the shore or take a taxi .It was perfect .The kitchen was very small , but well organised , good and clean. Good size living room and a cosy clean dormitory. The bathroom was spotless! The staff were wonderful!

The kitchen could have had more equipment, like a blender and more pots because I like to cook wherever I am.

The reception team welcomed me with tea for the check in.

I have stayed at this hostel before, and after returning, I decided to extend my stay once again because of the outstanding experience it consistently provides. The cleanliness throughout the hostel is exceptional, and the professionalism of both the owners and staff is second to none. From the moment you arrive, you are made to feel welcome, and the level of service is truly impressive. It is clear that the team takes great pride in maintaining high standards and ensuring that every guest has a comfortable and enjoyable stay. One thing that stands out is the number of returning guests. It is easy to understand why so many people choose to come back time and time again. The hostel offers a level of quality, care, and consistency that I have never experienced elsewhere. Without hesitation, I would rank this as the number one hostel I have ever stayed in. The dedication, hard work, and attention to detail from the owners and staff deserve immense credit. They have created something truly special. Thank you for another wonderful stay. - Very clean and well maintained compared to other hostels in Essaouira - Hot showers and super clean bathrooms - Good atmosphere for longer stays, with many long-term guests; I personally stayed for about a month and appreciated the opportunity to build meaningful connections with some of the other guests. - Terrace... but it close at 10.30 pm

- Verbal agreements about extending the stay were not respected, and I was asked to leave during a very busy holiday period (30 of december). I come back after 4 days rebooking via Booking, but I had to change rooms several times (5 times in 12 days), which was stressful. - No heating during an unusually cold, rainy and humid period (around 9°C at night and 14°C during the day); even a small heater used for a short time would have significantly improved the room comfort. - One bed in the female dorm (not listed on Booking) was very uncomfortable. One of the worst bed i have ever slept in years of travels... while the other beds I slept in were acceptable (not particularly comfortable, but decent enough to sleep) - far from the medina Overall, I would have given this hostel a 9 for its facilities and cleanliness, if it weren’t for the way I was asked to leave despite prior agreements, an issue that I later found had also affected other guests... and for the cold
