Awful.

Car park was a pitch black mud puddle Walking up to the door was dark Front door did not feel very secure No greeting pack or wifi given up arrival and zero phone signal Flat was freezing and smelt damp No TVs in the bedrooms Sofa was old and the leather was flaking everywhere Fridge was dirty Mould in the bathroom - dirty grout I walked in, left within 20 minutes. I couldn't get hold of my family, so I went to the premier inn 5 mins away. The flat is not luxury at all. Zero comfort I spoke to the owner and he promised me a refund. I have chased twice, but he is now ignoring me I am a lone female travelling for work - this was well below what I would expect for the price and in January too! Awful. Makes me regret trying to use small businesses - rather than the big companies. The wifi WAS NOT in the welcome message and what was I supposed to do, walk on my own in the dark down the road to get signal?

No plug in the bath. Nothing to wash up with. Bags of rubbish thrown into the hedge outside. Remote control for to needs replacing. Expensive for a 2 night stay. Cracked and damaged ding chairs.

Lovely apartment and easily accessible. Quiet location but not far from town. Comfy beds and brilliantly equipped with all we needed. Lots of towels, toilet roll, washing up equipment etc. Host was fantastic too.

Helston is a beautiful town worth exploring too. Great central location for days out.

Comfy sofas and beds. Very clean. Decorated beautifully.

Only downside is the sound proofing, no noisy neighbours but could hear flat above. I have a big Jeep so parking a little tight but doable.

A quiet, secluded and clean property near town, that would be improved with a few tweaks

The location was great. Near all facilities with a Dr Who themed fish & chip shop and a Lidl nearby. Lovely woods run next to the property with great walks. The rooms in the property were nice and clean. The main bedroom had a shelf in the wardrobe but the other two didin't, so everything needed to be hung up. The main living area was large and bright with good seating areas. There were instructions for appliances left in the kitchen, but see below. Our host left a pint of milk in the fridge for us and answered our query about the wi-fi when we could not connect. The Old Mill is secluded and the road narrow on approach, although there is plenty of parking. If coming back at night you will need the torch on your mobile because there are no lights until you reach the property, and it is pitch black. On the plus side, I've not seen as many stars in the sky for years. No light pollution.

We couldn't get the oven working, despite the instructions left. The TV was only available for catch-up. No aerial signal. Because my son took one of his own appliances we were able to view live TV using our mobiles to cast through the TV. Although it is a quiet location, the noise from the people upstairs could get annoying, especially when there were children running and jumping on the floor. A chopping board in the kitchen would have been useful. Also, there is no freeze box in the fridge. There were no instructions as to what to do with recycling or rubbish when we left.

Nice sized accommodation

We loved the colour scheme, the furniture and all the crockery, bedding and furnishings were lovely. Host was really friendly.

host communication was very poor, and the location of flat is really bad, as you have to drive in the wrong direction to turn to some side road.

I hate to give a bad review but sadly the property is bit luxurious like the name states.

The property has potential with some tlc, it’s a good size and a pretty location, a reasonable price. It could be beautiful but sadly it did not feel luxurious at all like the name states. The bedrooms and living space felt clean enough although some white bedding would feel much nicer than the patterned covers, but whilst the kitchen and bathroom were not clean.

There was nothing luxurious about this property. The photos look much nicer than the reality. The beds are not overly comfortable, the kitchen had a drawer off, the oven was filthy and not useable without a good clean first and the bathroom was mouldy.

A wonderful spacious warm retreat from the cold February weather .

I arrived in the dark which as with any new place made finding it tricky. I phoned the owner who was super helpful. The flat was warm and welcoming. It was clean, well equipped and spacious. I’m so glad I’ve found a place that I would happily stay at again.

I had not received information prior to arriving on location and accessing the building. I should have checked this sooner. When I did contact the owner he was very helpful.

It was good but small improvements would be nice to make the stay more comfortable.

It was nice and quiet. It was big and spacious as well. It was maintained really well and was clean and in good quality. Overall, apart from a few things it was very good and comfortable.

The heating system was bad as it didn't allow us to change the settings and the house and water was really cold at night and in the morning. Also, some essentials like soap and cooking items like salt were not provided.

Lovely place but if noisy neighbours you will hear everything

Lovely property, clean and nicely done.

The walls are so thin, there were a group of people upstairs running about and shouting most of the night. It frightened my little one and myself and the kids had very little sleep. I was relieved we only had to stay the one night.

Beautiful apartment in a lovely old mill in a quaint part of town.

The apartment was spacious clean and comfortable most things were catered for and it was easy to find and easy to park, not sure how easy in peak times overall it was ideal for the situation we were in

The heating was on but understandably the radiators were locked so you couldn't turn them up or down, however, we were having a cold snap and the apartment took a long time to get some warmth in and as the radiators weren’t on all night didnt stay warm. The other problem we encountered was a very noisy neighbour upstairs, who was loud when talking on the phone and walking up and down his apartment, we only stayed one night and he was loud both late evening and very early morning until he left i assume for work.

Very clean and spacious apartment. Quiet area.

We had to check in after 5 pm and leave before 9 am. All the hotels or apartments have check in after 2 pm and check out before 12. Apart from this everything was excellent.
