Fabulous location with views across the valley. Easy reach of several good pubs/ restaurant and villages. Would be great in the summer to sit out with a glass of wine to relax. Take some binoculars and a good camera if you’re interested in the bird life. Windy walks at this time of year, but really blew the cobwebs away, will be great to return in the summer to make best use.
There was a problem with the heating, which the owner tried to sort from a distance, but the only night I was warm was the last night. There were no extra blankets or bed throws.
Also the owner had arranged for chimney to be swept, the sweep was in the cottage whilst I was out, so my things may not have been secure, perhaps the cleaner could have been asked to be there.
