We really enjoyed our stay here! This was a great place to comfortably sleep after a long day of walking around. The kitchen area was also a perfect spot to play cards and dice on a rainy day. Being able to catch fish right off the dock was a huge plus! We would definitely recommend this place!

The house was beautiful. I do wish the listing would have been more forthcoming about safety. We loved that the listing notes stairs, but it also said it was safe for elderly. We had two great-grandparents with us that are still very mobile that struggled with the rotting stairs from the house to the road, and the different levels of flooring throughout the house. There is a step to the bedrooms, a step to the living room, and a step to the bathroom. While they may be easy to navigate during the day, it's not so easy at night when you're trying to not wake up the house by turning on every light in every room.
We had a few issues with the house throughout our stay that the owner took care of (ran out of TP, one bed broke) and we greatly appreciate the speed of their actions towards our needs.
Overall, we love the property and the home. We would book this again if we didn't have the older generation of our family with us because we just can't risk another fall that could have a worse result than what happened. & we hope this review helps someone else that is planning to travel with their older family members!
