Perfect stay in Meteora !!!

We really loved this apartment. It is located near the rock formations and you see them outside the apartment window. Here are highlights of the apartment: 1. Everything in the apartment is modern and looks brand new. 2 Everything is pristinely clean. 3. Kitchen has everything you need. 4. Beds are VERY comfortable. 5. Location is quiet but close to the Monasteries. 6. George the host is very attentive and responsive immediately from the time you make your reservation. 7. It was 42°C outside when we arrived and George made sure the air conditioning was turned on for us prior to us arriving. This was one of our favorite apartments in Greece and we could not recommend it more highly! It is great for both a family and couples

Pleasent and efficient

Communication with the owner was easy. The view from the room is super. There are Tavernas, Bakery close to the location. A gas station very close as well. Road to access the car circuit for visiting the monasteries very close.

The owner has just one room and access the stairs does not reflect the interior.

Good value and experience

I posted a review earlier for the wrong place. Here’s the review for this beautiful place. We can see the rocky landscape right through the back window. The room is nice and clean. The host is very helpful.

FANTASTIC!!!

Upon arrival, the address was somewhat off by 100 yards. I called the owner and he immediately came to greet us. A very pleasant and informative gentleman! The location was spot on with an exceptional view of the mountain side. My wife and I weren't overly concerned about breakfast because the village of Kastraki has much to offer with cafes and tavernas.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

Quiet and comfy with amazing view

The welcome was amazing and the host is very client-oriented. Everything in the room was impecable. I would totally recommand for everyone wanting to visit Meteora!!

Kastraki accommodation & village

The accommodation was great, right in the middle of the village & a 20 mins drive to the monasteries. It was comfortable with a lovely view of the rocks from the bedroom window. George was also very friendly & accommodating. The village is charming, we walked around the outskirts & found a lovely little cafe/bar called "Quistro" with a beautiful view. A small hill to climb but worth it. Great place to stay all round!

Great apartment in central Kastraki location!

This is a special space with everything you might need and a balcony where you can watch Greek life pass by through the incredible mobiles of Hercules. George was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A brilliant location in Kastraki meters from the square. Thank you George.

a good spot for a night or two while touring meteora

located on a quiet street. probably a better choice if you come by a car. with a car you can travel the scenic route to see all the monasteries very easily in a 19km round trip from this house. this is a guest apartment on the property of the owner's residence. he's ready to help with on the phone or on the spot. the room is very nicely decorated with a kitchen and a bar counter. wifi is good. has a dedicated parking spot

only spent a night here, didn't notice anything unfavorable.

Stay here! It was up to date, very comfortable, George is a wonderful host, and the view from the room is fabulous. We’ve been in Greece three weeks and this is the best place we have stayed. The Meteora area is very special and Kastraki is a better place to stay than Kalambaka. We loved Oikia Kastraki.

Cozy studio for a small family with spectacular views of Meteora rock formations. The studio is well equipped and the hosts are very welcoming. Their art exhibits are eclectic. The hosts graciously stored our luggage while we explored the Meteora monasteries.

Exceptional interior - modern, fully furnished and spotless clean. Everything you need for an independent stay. Great comfort. Superb panorama from the apartment window and superb location - Kastraki is both authentic & calm and logistic for visiting Meteora monasteries, full of authentic tavernas with local food and splendid panoramas on the Meteora rock formations, something nearby villages cannot boast of. Super reccomended!

Posizione perfetta per visitare le meteore, che si vedono addirittura dalla finestra della stanza. Molto accessoriata e pulita.

Il letto piccolo era un po' duro e se non c'è il sole è difficile avere l'acqua abbastanza calda.

ג'ורג' הוא מארח אדיב. לבבי. קיבל אותנו במאור פנים עזר עם המזוודה. המיקום מעולה. עשר דקות בנסיעה מהמנזרים התלויים. במרכז . דקותיים הליכה למאפיה.טברנות מכולת וכדו. יש נוף מהחדר מהמם. והוא אביו מכינים ומוכרים פיסול קינטי מדליק ממש בחצר המקום. מטבחון מתאים להכנת ארוחות קלות בלבד יש תה וקפה.

ריח קצת מוזר לא ברור לי מה זה. ההסקה של העצים. איוורור לא מספק. מיטות רכות מידי לטעמינו. מקלחת קטנה.

Perfect verblijf in het rustige Kastraki

Supervriendelijke host die zich helemaal niet opdringt maar toch erg hulpvaardig is en klaarstaat om je bij alles te helpen zoals vervoer, wandelkaarten, adresjes... De locatie is perfect op 2 min van het dorpsplein met restaurantjes en op weg naar de kloosters. Wie wil wandelen zit na 5 min in een andere wereld.

Un sejur scurt, dar confortabil, într-o cameră modernă și bine echipată.

Camera a fost perfectă pentru doi adulți, un adolescent de 14 ani și un copil de 9 ani. Spațiul generos, amenajarea modernă și atenția la detalii au făcut șederea foarte plăcută. Baia este modernă și complet utilată, cu produse de igienă disponibile. Totul a fost curat, bine organizat și exact ca în fotografii.

Un studio pratique et confortable pour visiter les Météores

La vue des Météores depuis notre lit. La situation, avec les tavernes, les boulangeries et les épiceries tout proches. La gentillesse de Giorgios, notre hôte qui nous a permis de repartir plus tard que prévu. L'atelier d'Hercules, son père artiste, et l'exposition de ses mobiles devant la maison. Le wifi qui fonctionnait parfaitement.

Sauber, freundlich mit super Aussicht!

Sehr sauber, geräumig und mit einem Mega-Ausblick auf die Felsen! Die Unterkunft befindet sich über eine Werkstatt für Kunst-Mobiles, was unser 8-monatigem Baby besonders toll fand. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und unkompliziert und der Gastgeber war für uns immer erreichbar.

Wir konnten anfangs die Unterkunft schwer finden, aber das lag wahrscheinlich eher an uns. Bad war ein wenig muffig, aber trotzdem kein Hindernis.

El mejor lugar para alojarte cuando visitas Meteora

La ubicación, la calidad del departamento. Que hubiese tés, café, y lo mínimo de cosas que se necesitan para cocinar y no tener que salir a comprar. Super equipado! La amabilidad del dueño increíble! La vista!

Un poco blanda la cama, pero eso es cuestión de gustos. A la mayoría de la gente le gustan las camas menos duras.

Wyjątkowe miejsce

Jesteśmy zachwyceni pobytem w apartamencie Oikia! To były bardzo udane 3 dni, żałujemy, że nie mogliśmy zostać dłużej. Gospodarz miły, pomocny, nie narzucający się. Apartament bardzo przytulny, z ogromnym, wygodnym łóżkiem i wspaniałym widokiem na skały. Czystość, także w łazience, nie budziła żadnych zastrzeżeń. Aneks kuchenny dobrze wyposażony z ekspresem do kawy, którą można było sączyć patrząc na niesamowity krajobraz za oknem. Do Meteorów było blisko 10-20 minut samochodem, a potem już na pieszo zwiedzaliśmy klasztory i podziwialiśmy widoki. Miejscowość Kastraki spokojna i cicha (no, może z wyjątkiem zwyczaju bicia dzwonów z pobliskiego kościółka, czy też ratusza-jak ktoś lubi pospać to polecam stopery do uszu;) - nam to nie przeszkadzało - wręcz przeciwnie- było to interesujące doświadczenie), polecam spacer po jej uliczkach, zwłaszcza po starym Kastraki. Punkt obowiązkowy to mały trekking do skały w kształcie ogórka ;-) Aż chce się wracać! Miejsce naprawdę godne polecenia! :-D
