The appartment was very good positioned to easily reach places like Methoni or Pylos. It has a beautiful view on the sea, the opposite mountains and Kalamata in the evening. Next little town is 3 km away. There is a road just below but I guess at this time of the year there is no huge traffic yet. It did not cause any problem. We had our own parking place. Big enough with comfortable bed, kitchen with everything you need. Huge terrace for having breakfast. The owner was very kind, we received some nice gifts when we left.

If you want to be right next to beaches, leaving the car to move around walking, it is not necessarily the place. But to discover the area its perfect.

Die Unterkunft liegt nur eine Autominute außerhalb von Petalidi. Man hat einen tollen Blick aufs Meer und eine große Terrasse. In Petalidi selbst findet man Supermarkt, mehrere Bäcker, Eisdiele und zahlreiche Restaurants um den schönen Kirchenplatz herum. Abends war hier immer eine schöne Atmosphäre. Das Haus selbst ist gut eingerichtet und bietet ausreichend Platz. Klimaanlage ist vorhanden. Das Auto findet direkt vor der Tür unter einem Carport Platz. Die Vermieterin steht für Fragen immer zur Verfügung und ist supernett - sie hat auch einige Geschenke wie Olivenöl bereitgestellt.

Das einzige Manko waren die Herdplatten - diese wurden nicht wirklich warm. Da ich persönlich nicht kochen wollte, sondern aufgrund des herausragenden Preis-Leistungsverhältnisses der Restaurants in der Nähe immer essen gegangen bin, hat es mich persönlich nicht gestört. Für jemanden, der sich selbst bekochen möchte, wäre dies aber ein Hindernis.

Comfort, very clean and well maintained house. Quiet location. 5 minutes walking to beach. Sunrise is exceptional. Very recommended for couples with 1 child. The beds and the sofa are comfortable. The property is air conditioned and makes nice feeling also in extremely hot days. The host is exceptional. During our one week stay she was in contact every day to ensure that everything is good. Once we forgot the key inside the house. They solved it in 7 minutes (!) by arriving at property. There is private shady parking. Balcony is quite big with panoramic view on the gulf. The property is 3min driving to village, there you can find all you need

Comfortable apartment, in an excellent location with a phenomenal view. The hosts welcomed us with a bottle of cold wine, olive oil, and welcome food. They were there for all our questions. We would return to this accommodation again.

The internet has been really slow for a few days, but I believe it's down to the outside network.
