Unique Train House with Private Pool - Sleeps 11 people

We had a really lovely stay at this unique and fascinating property. The house is made from two old train carriages, which gives it so much character and charm. It’s spacious, peaceful and has beautiful views overlooking Novi Sad, with a lovely pool on the roof terrace. The location just outside the city was perfect for us. It was very quiet, we slept really well, and taxis were easy to get and very familiar with the area. I think it’s important to have the right expectations for your stay; this is a quirky, historic and unusual property rather than a luxury property where everything is maintained to perfection, but that is also what makes it so special. The house has a feeling of age and wonder, unlike so many boring modern properties. The host was also lovely and really did his best to accommodate us which we appreciated. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

There are some minor repairs and bits of upkeep that could be done, but given the age and unique nature of the property, this is understandable and did not detract from our stay.

Всего 15 минут от города. Понравился дом, много места, уединенная зона с бассейном интересный интерьер с большим количеством деталей, холодильник для напитков на улице. ЛишьТакже на территории много зелени, что создает уют.

Хочется, чтобы дому уделили немного внимания. Где-то ручка от шкафа упала, на лестнице одна доска не крепко приколочена. Но скажу, что для меня это не особо критично и отдых не испортило, но из-за этого оценку немного снизила.

Proveli smo sjajno veče u kući. Stvarno za svaku preporuku. Domaćin je ljubazan i za svaku vrstu dogovora. Doći ćemo ponovo definitivno! Verujem da je leti još lepše, pogotovo zbog bazena i pogleda na ceo grad.

The overall look and the spaces are quite nice, especially the actual train cars as sleeping rooms is an awesome touch, and the summer kitchen had a lot of space and stuff. The view is also quite pretty. All in all a cool house if it was either much cheaper or maintained properly

The maintenance of the house it seems has been forsaken for quite a while, the stairs were broken, it was quite dirty (including the pool which was sad), there were no towels whatsoever that we had to have a whole quest to look for, the outside lighting had a damaged cable that just kept shorting while it was raining outside and killing the electricity in the entire house, the fridge was barely working even at the highest setting. The pool area could have had more amenities like some chairs/sunbeds (all you have is 3 wooden sunbeds and that is it). And the worst in my opinion was the owner that kept excusing himself that he’s “just the owner” and the company managing the property is right now unavailable. I have no idea in what world is that an excuse for maintaining a property this badly while charging this much money.
