Concordia, con parking en el puerto de Cambrils

Great communication with Francisca the owner upon booking and prior to arrival. We arrived in the resort really early (11.30) so Francisca met us at the property to let us drop off our cases while the apartment was cleaned and then we went back an hour or so later to pick up the keys. Its nice to be met at the apartment and shown the facilities rather than picking up the keys from a lock box. The apartment is in a fantastic location. We hadnt been to Cambrils before so werent sure where things were but the apartment is central to everything. There is a Spar supermarket round the corner, an Aldi 5 minutes walk away, its only a 5 min walk down to the front, the beach, the port, the main bus stop, and the main shopping streets behind the port. The apartment is on the top floor with lift (4th floor) of a very quiet residential block. It had everything we needed and more - there was even beach chairs, a beach umbrella and beach towels. Great wif fi and a smart TV. Lovely big balcony with room for a dining table and chairs, 2 comfy chairs plus room to dry washing. And 2 bedrooms although we only used the one double room. Cambrils is a lovely Spanish town, not overly touristy, quite upmarket. Lovely long promenade both ways. Lots of restaurants and bars around the port area and nice shops, coffee shops etc. Lovely sandy beach, shallow water. Sunbeds are expensive 30 euros per day for 2 beds and shade which is double the price of Greece but that seems to be the going rate these days. A lot of people just go and buy chairs and umbrellas from the beach shops along the front. Market day is Wednesday up by the old town which is very quaint and pretty. The Reus airport bus only runs 4 or 5 times a day, the bus stop is right outside the airport but it may mean waiting a couple of hours for a bus depending on your flights. Or you can get a taxi, its about a 15/20 min journey so I dont think it would be overly expensive.

Nothing to complain about - everything was fabulous. Only a minor point but It would be nice to have a full length mirror in the bedroom.

Die Wohnung war mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Urlaub so braucht. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und hat auch auf dem Balkon absolut genügend Platz um dort in der Früh gemütloich einen Kaffe zu trinken oder am Abend noch einen Drink oder Apéro zu geniessen. Man kann auf dem Balkon auch essen, was wir aber nicht genutzt haben, da wir in einem Kurzurlaub nicht so richtig Lust zum selber kochen haben. Die Nutzung des Garagenstellplatzes hat den Aufenthalt sehr vereinfacht, da man sich nie Gedanken machen muss, wo man das Auto über nacht abstellen kann. Ausserdem wäre die Nähe zum Strand (in nur wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar) ein Hit, da man das Auto nicht braucht, um zum Strand zu kommen. Am Abend sind viele Restaurants, Bars, Kaffees und der Hafen bequem zu Fuss zu erreichen und man hat kulinarisch vielen Möglichkeiten - da findet sich für jeden was zum geniessen.

Nichts. Es war alles top und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.
