Our rating would have been much higher if it hadn't been for the extremely frustrating experience getting the keys and checking in. We said that we would be there between 2-3 pm. and this was confirmed with Booking.com. We were told that we would receive an email with a code for the lock box for the keys, but this never came. We arrived when expected and had no way to get in, and there was no one around. We tried the phone number for the host that Booking.com sent us but there was no answer. We spent the next hour and a half trying contact Booking.com (who simply said to contact the host) and Holidu who said that they would try to contact the host. We eventually got the host on the phone and she said that our room wouldn't be ready for another hour or so and that she would call us back. We finally got in around 5:30 (with a lock box which was in a different place than we were orginally told). There seemed to be a major disconnect between what Booking.com told us would be the check-in time and procedure and what actually took place. The apartment itself was fine although there were a few minor issues such an extremely small amount of watered-down soap and less than a complete set of kitchen ware for cooking.
