AMIRSHOX GUEST HOUSE

Stayed for 4 nights in this very friendly guest house next door to the Gur-e Amir mausoleum. Owners were incredibly helpful throughout the stay, gave us a lift on a couple of occasions, and provided tea and sometimes cake at the end of the day. Rooms were comfortable, great shower and breakfasts were large and varied. Highly recommended.

Nothing.

An excellent stay in the heart of Samarkand! The location is perfect — tucked away on a quiet street but right in the city center, making it an ideal base for exploring the city and visiting all the main sights on foot. The room was simple but spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was just as we needed it to be. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, were the hosts. They were absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. Their kindness, thoughtfulness, and genuine willingness to help made our stay so much more enjoyable. It is rare to come across such caring and attentive hosts, and we truly cannot praise them enough. We would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Samarkand and would happily stay here again!

I strongly recommend this place when you stay on Samarkand. Hospitality of the owners on very high level, not often expireinced. Tea at the tarrrace served every day after returning to hotel. Even home made cale which was delicious. At the end of the stay we were offered free pick up to the train station.

All on higest level.

Very friendly, informative and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Water supplied. Great location. Family orientated. Multilingual (Japanese, Russian) Good beds

Some rooms were very cosy. Some light bleed issues with curtains, may not suit light sleepers.
