About this cabin rental
Cozy lake house located on Clear Lake in Watkins MN on almost a half acre gradual grade lot with 100ft of shoreline. This charming home will not disappoint! Fully remodeled kitchen with beautiful granite countertops and plenty of island space for entertaining. Deck access on main level for seating and endless lake views. Custom buffet bar with under counter fridge on main level. Living room has an electric fireplace inserted in TV stand. Large master suite on main level has a king size bed and walk in closet with organized drawers. Lake side view for days. Main floor also has a generous full bathroom with a spa tub option. Washer and dryer also on main level. Head downstairs to find another access to a 3 season porch and outside or enjoy another living space with futon. Downstairs also has bunkbeds with full size mattress, another large 3/4th bathroom, and bedroom with queen bed and lakeside views also. All bedrooms and both living spaces have a smart TV.
The adventures awaits outside with a large lawn accompanying fire pit with seating. Private dock. Inside the boat shed you will find a paddle boat, Lily pad, bean bag toss and some other miscellaneous things for you to enjoy. Or venture out and find surrounding towns to explore, Watkins is near Kimball, St Cloud, Litchfield, Buffalo and Annandale and about 2hs from the Metro. Ring security camera door bell for your safety.

We decided to make a last minute trip to MN for labor day weekend.
The pictures are great but its prettier in person.
The kitchen has very nice appliances.
The bed was super comfortable.
It was really relaxing.
My kids LOVED the bunkbeds.
The host responded to any messages promptly.
We would love to come back. It is queit area even with the campcround right there.
100/10 would recommend to friends and family!!!

Very nice place! It was clean and well kept. We had a group of 10 and there was plenty of room so we weren't on top of each other. Nice, big lot. Owner was quick to respond.

Although we had rain a couple of our days, the house is a beautiful retreat with most things we needed to cook family dinners. Great kitchen.

Overall: This property did exactly what it was meant to do- allow us to relax and enjoy eachothers company for a week!
Cons of our stay though- The water is not swimmable, we had to travel to a near by lake to actually go swimming. The house did not include a table, so it was hard to play our card games. The kitchen included a breakfast bar with stools for eating meals but not great for playing games. The week that we stayed was the hottest of the year... no ones fault, just ended up that way. The kitchen did not have garbage bags (no big deal) or dishwasher soap. We furnished it for our stay.
Pros- had enough parking for everyone, had enough room for all that came, was nice that there was a fire pit to enjoy in the evenings, on a relatively quiet road that was paved and great for walking, and the neighbors were extremely friendly. The kitchen was extremely up to date. The one must see that everyone had was the kitchen storage. Many comments were made about upgrades to personal homes after seeing what was available in this kitchen. The master closet was another and main floor bath were also the most commented and complimented areas.
We would use this property again if we had the need.
