The location was very nice quiet scenery etc. the only thing annoying as in all holiday properties the duvet are all winter weight and only one single bed had a lighter weight. the kitchen facilities showers good.
the sofas were feeling their age and could be replaced and as usual one or two things need attention if the owners spent some time in the lodges they would understand all the niggles

The location is good for exploring the countryside - very quiet and rural, with views of countryside and sheep grazing. The bedrooms were well-equipped and the bathrooms were decent.
The property was completely dark on arrival. I had to phone the owners to come down, turn lights on and show me where to go. Not a great start. The kitchen had one bowl and 3 tumblers for 5 of us. The knives were blunt. It took a long time for the property to warm up - it was freezing when we arrived.
