The place was very clean upon our arrival. The management office checked in with us, asked if we had any questions, left us a nice bottle of wine, and snacks. Check-in was at 4 pm, but I asked if we could check in earlier because we were meeting friends for a Luau. We were granted access. Thank you so much. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. The view was amazing, and the unit was large enough that you didn't feel like you were on top of one another. The on-suite bathroom shower door is a bit stiff, but it closed just fine. The main bathroom shower is a lot more powerful. There were hair dryers in each bathroom, so you do not need to go back and forth. The furniture was comfortable for sitting and watching TV (the TV had not many channels to choose from). I know we're in Hawaii, but why are we watching TV? We had a 5-month-old baby with us, so there were a lot of early nights. We had a wonderful time and would go back again. The beds were comfortable for a good night's sleep. What a lovely property. Well stocked with kitchen supplies. Comfortable beds and couch. Large table on veranda to share with friends to enjoy view of the ocean and mountain where we could watch the sunrise every morning. The Surfside property offers great access to nature - a turtle cove off the walking path where 300 lb turtles were resting, snorkeling off the beach, wild birds. It is a bit of heaven. TVs are older and glitchy which was the only downside. We had an excellent stay.
