Great for a get away to Monsaraz without having to be in the town. Great megalithic site’s within walking distance. Great for dogs because there are so many remote roads to explore without worrying about meeting too many people. We were a little disappointed that the patio room was not available, but overall great place to stay.

It’s sweet and very cozy and it’s got good options for quick walks into the countryside.
It’s very small and a bit claustrophobic and hard for tall people to comfortably navigate the doorways. It was very cold in November and the wall heaters did not give off adequate heat. The kitchen equipment was not great - cooking pans were very beat up and not safe to use.
