Agriturismo La Terrazza

We had a truly wonderful stay at Agriturismo La Terrazza in Velva. The house is a lovingly restored 18th-century building, nestled in the preserved historic village center, with charming narrow alleys and an authentic atmosphere. Inside, the house is beautifully renovated with style and attention to detail. It comfortably fits four people, with tastefully furnished rooms, a spacious kitchen, and an elegant marble bathroom. Everything is well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged—you can tell it was renovated with both care and passion. One of the absolute highlights is the terrace with its breathtaking view over the Ligurian hills all the way to the sea—and on clear days, even the French Alps are visible! The surrounding landscape is pure nature: chestnut trees, vineyards, rolling hills, and complete tranquility. It’s the perfect place to unplug and recharge. A special mention goes to Antonella and her daughter, who were incredibly warm, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. They also organized a wine tasting of their own wines from Azienda Agricola Pino Gino—which we highly recommend! In summary: A peaceful, beautiful, and authentic retreat in Liguria. We will definitely be back!

There’s really nothing to criticize. Just be aware that Velva is a small, remote village—so having a car is essential, and some of the mountain roads are quite narrow and winding. But that’s also part of the charm and what makes the place so peaceful and authentic.

The house was simply beautiful, wonderful roof terrace and extremely well appointed. The hosts were always on hand and all those little details made a massive difference. Would return in a heartbeat.

it is a very authentic italian house and it was lovely renovated with all you need. Even the Wifi is excellent 😉. The roof terrace is superb, and the sun screen is great. the terrace makes the house special.
