Kiara Apartments & Rooms

The apatment is a solid house where we rented an entire floor. The rental had kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a livingroom. It was well equipped, also had cable TV and internet. Also owner welcomed us, she was very friendly and helpful.

Well located for visiting the east and north of the Triglav National park, easy to reach various sights and hikes in about half an hour drive. As it is located in a small normal town outside of the main touristic places the price was cheaper and affordable and also several larger supermarkets are only couple minutes by car away. Also, the apartment has a washing machine.

There wasn't anything in particular not to like. The area was as expected for a town and the apartment was comfortable and very good value for the price.

Overall, the apartment was functional and adequately equipped. Nice seating area outside in the small garden.

Kiara Accommodation consists of several different apartments, but unfortunately the reviews and photos on the booking site seem to be mixed, which can make it difficult to know exactly what to expect. We stayed in the ground-floor 3-bedroom apartment (Kiara 1 & 2). The apartment does indeed have three bedrooms, but one of the bedrooms can only be accessed through another bedroom. There was air conditioning in two of the three bedrooms, but none in the living room. What surprised us most was that the living room and kitchen had no exterior windows. They appear to be located in a converted garage or storage area. The living area also had a slightly musty smell, possibly related to this construction. While the apartment offers all the necessary amenities, including two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, we did not find it very pleasant to spend time in a living space without windows. The interior is somewhat dated and could benefit from refurbishment. We also missed having a sofa in the living area.
