About this cabin rental
A peaceful, quiet retreat. Built by the host, this comfortable 400 sq.ft. cabin is located in Big Lake, Alaska. Your Alaska-themed cabin is located about midway between Fairbanks and Homer and about an hour and 15 minutes to Anchorage and the airport. There is plenty of parking for your toys and trailers with nearby trails for snow machining, dog sledding, fat-tire biking, or cross-country skiing. In summer, there is nearby access to Big Lake for boating, kayaking, or putting in your jet-skis. You may hear sandhill cranes in the summer and year-round see moose wandering through the property. There are nearby dog sledding adventures, WakeSurfing rentals, and ice skating (winter) and fun house in the summer. Aurora Lights Cabins are an amazing Alaskan experience!

the cabin was very clean, and the grounds were kept up nicely. they've got two big dogs that are very friendly, we looked forward to seeing them every morning. overall a great experience. The WIFIthe TV is antiena only, so we brought a roku to plug into the TV so watch our stuff at night.

Immaculate and of beautiful craftmanship. Beautiful view and outdoor seating. Wish we had been staying for more than just one night. If we are in Big Lake or Wasilla area again we will definitely be back. Only issue we had was with VRBO and error messages on their site. thank you for a wonderful stay.

We love staying at Aurora lights, this has become a New Year's eve tradition for us! Terriann and George are incredible hosts and super accommodating! We love this place and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet getaway in a charming cabin to enjoy beautiful Alaska scenery!
